Bionic Highlights: Best Fight Scenes of the Week: Episode 1.03 "Sisterhood"

Bionic Woman episode 1.03, “Sisterhood,” had the most fight scene action per episode minute to date.  Of course, all involved Michelle Ryan as Jaime Sommers using her bionic strength and Krav Maga training.

My favorite scene involves Jaime Sommers battling Serbian terrorists trying to abduct the daughter of a Canadian businessman.  Sommers has been tasked to baby sit the teenage brat.  The scene takes place in a nail salon, but just before the bad guys show up, Katee Sackhoff’s character Sarah Corvus shows up and eventually lends a hand.

Episode:  1.03 - “Sisterhood”

Duration:  1.35 minutes

Characters:  Jaime Sommers, Sarah Corvus and Serbian Terrorists

Winner:  Sommers and Corvus

Deaths:  1

Best Line:  Sarah Corvus:  “Rock, paper, scissors for the last guy?”

The second fight scene of the episode is a favorite because it involves Jaime Sommers kicking Isaiah Washington Antonio Pope’s ass.

Episode:  1.03 - “Sisterhood”

Duration:  38 seconds

Characters:  Jaime Sommers & Antonio Pope

Winner:  Sommers

Deaths:  None

Best Line:  Sommers:  “Bring it on, Bitch.”

The third most noteworthy fight sequence is another training session with Jaime Sommers and Jae Kim.  Last week they had the best fight scene together and this week’s is fun to watch but not very long; only 30 seconds.

Best Line:  Kim:  “Interesting things start happening once you learn to let go.”

About Bionic Woman

Welcome to the best site on the web for news about Bionic Woman! Bionic Woman is a re-imagined, updated television drama inspired by the original 1970s show starring Lindsey Wagner. Helmed by the same creative team responsible for reviving Battlestar Galactica on the Sci-Fi Channel, the new Bionic Woman is darker than the 1970s original series but not quite as dark as BSG. The new show stars Michelle Ryan as the title character, Jaime Sommers, and Katee Sackhoff as her nemesis/frenemy Sarah Corvus. Each episode provides Jaime with an opportunity to further adapt to her bionic implants, and plots usually focus on her struggles to raise her teenage sister Becca while fighting techno terrorism and other types of crime. Bionic Woman airs on channels around the world, and in the United States it appears on Wednesday nights at 9:00/8:00 Central on NBC.
