Bionic Highlights: Bionic Woman Best Fight Scene of the Week: Episode 1.01

by Ryan

Last week’s premiere episode of Bionic Woman, “Second Chances,” was a rockin’ good time, due greatly to the rainy rooftop fight scene between Michelle Ryan’s Jaime Sommers and Katee Sackhoff’s Sarah Corvus.

In three minutes the scene managed to serve up character development, bionic technology explanations, show off cool moves, quips, sex appeal and a healthy serving of good old fashioned fun. We can’t wait for the next match up between these two, which will hopefully be on Wednesday night in episode two!

Hands down, this week’s best fight scene is this well choreographed rooftop battle between the two powerful bionic women, as they test their technology and forge the pattern of their future relationship with each rainy blow.

Episode:  1.01 - “Second Chances”

Minutes Into Show:  53

Duration:  3 minutes

Characters:  Jaime Sommers & Sarah Corvus

Winner:  Draw

Deaths:  None

Best Line:  “Not to be too mellow dramatic about the whole thing, I’m Sarah Corvus, the first Bionic Woman.  Ta Da.”

I recall hearing one of them say that after surviving that even little else bothered her in life. I suspect if you make it through two world wars you’d feel much the same way. About Bionic Woman

Welcome to the best site on the web for news about Bionic Woman! Bionic Woman is a re-imagined, updated television drama inspired by the original 1970s show starring Lindsey Wagner. Helmed by the same creative team responsible for reviving Battlestar Galactica on the Sci-Fi Channel, the new Bionic Woman is darker than the 1970s original series but not quite as dark as BSG. The new show stars Michelle Ryan as the title character, Jaime Sommers, and Katee Sackhoff as her nemesis/frenemy Sarah Corvus. Each episode provides Jaime with an opportunity to further adapt to her bionic implants, and plots usually focus on her struggles to raise her teenage sister Becca while fighting techno terrorism and other types of crime. Bionic Woman airs on channels around the world, and in the United States it appears on Wednesday nights at 9:00/8:00 Central on NBC.
