Bionic Guest Star: Callum Keith Rennie
Tuesday, November 13th, 2007
Bionic Woman, episode 1.06 “The List,” was a decent episode. Diehard fans of David Eick’s other 1970’s remake, Battlestar Galactica, should have recognized this week’s guest star Callum Keith Rennie. Rennie’s Leoben Conoy is a humanoid cylon known for capturing Katee Sackhoff’s Starbuck and convincing her she had delivered his baby.
On BW, Rennie plays terrorist Victor Booth. Booth has stolen a “list” of undercover CIA agents and is selling it to the highest bidder. After killing a Berkut Group agent, he jets off to Paris to make the sell. Our title heroine, along with guest star Jordan Bridges, are hot on his trail. Rennie is good at playing just off kilter crazies. He does a superb job on BW.
Via his wikipedia page we learn that in addition to his BW and BSG gigs,

Rennie has made guest appearances on several television shows. These include Forever Knight, Mutant X and Highlander, in which he played both a mortal in the Season 2 episode “An Eye For an Eye” and an immortal named Tyler King in the Season 5 episode “The Innocent”. During Season 1 of La Femme Nikita, Rennie guest-starred in the two-part episodes “Gray” and “Choice” as the only love interest Nikita had outside Section One during the entire run of the series. Rennie also appeared in The X-Files, initially offered the role of Alex Krycek. He turned down the role because he did not want to commit to a television series at that time, but he later guest-starred on the show. More recently, Rennie has made an appearance on Smallville as a FOTW (Freak of the Week) in the Season 5 episode “Fragile”.
Rennie resides in Vancouver, also spending time in Toronto and Los Angeles.
Seeing Rennie makes me long for the return of BSG.
