Michelle Ryan in Men’s Health

The current issue of Men’s Health magazine contains an ode to the loveliness that is Bionic Woman Michelle Ryan. After discussing her elegant wrists, the magazine reported that Michelle confessed that although she does not need a man in her life, she still wants one:

“Underneath, we’re still women,” Ryan says. “We still want a man to tell us everything’s going to be okay. At the same time, we want to be able to say, ‘I can do things for myself. I’ll make my own choices.’ All the strong females I admire have good hearts. They’re not bitchy, but they won’t let themselves be taken advantage of. Ultimately, though, they’re still women who want a man to hang out and have fun with.”

Michelle also tries to do the heroic thing and explain to the readers of Men’s Health the difference between confidence and arrogance, and why it is important to approach women as equals. If she succeeds in making more men understand that distinction, she really does have amazing powers!

About Bionic Woman

Welcome to the best site on the web for news about Bionic Woman! Bionic Woman is a re-imagined, updated television drama inspired by the original 1970s show starring Lindsey Wagner. Helmed by the same creative team responsible for reviving Battlestar Galactica on the Sci-Fi Channel, the new Bionic Woman is darker than the 1970s original series but not quite as dark as BSG. The new show stars Michelle Ryan as the title character, Jaime Sommers, and Katee Sackhoff as her nemesis/frenemy Sarah Corvus. Each episode provides Jaime with an opportunity to further adapt to her bionic implants, and plots usually focus on her struggles to raise her teenage sister Becca while fighting techno terrorism and other types of crime. Bionic Woman airs on channels around the world, and in the United States it appears on Wednesday nights at 9:00/8:00 Central on NBC.
